Indian exhibitors will showcase a wide range of readymade garments. AEPC Chairman Sudhir Sekhri emphasized Japan’s status as the fourth largest garment importer globally and the advantage of India’s duty-free access under the Indo-Japan trade agreement. He encouraged Indian manufacturers to seize this unique opportunity, noting India’s minimal 1.37% share in Japan’s $23 billion garment import market.

Sekhri highlighted India’s robust garment industry and its capacity to meet diverse demands, amidst a trend of declining Chinese market share, suggesting ample prospects for Japanese traders.
