Fashion Brands Explore Quick Commerce with Blinkit

Imagine purchasing from your favourite fashion brands through a rapid delivery service like Blinkit. Many fashion brands are now exploring quick commerce options.

Sidhant Keshwani, founder and CEO of Libas, revealed in an interview that they are poised to make a significant move by testing out Blinkit’s fast delivery platform. They plan to launch the Kiara Advani collection during the upcoming festive season.

Their goal is to leverage quick commerce to ensure faster delivery, meeting customers’ immediate needs. Keshwani pointed out that during festive seasons, there is a heightened demand for quickly accessible fashion items.

However, one of the main challenges they anticipate is the efficient distribution of a wide range of products, sizes, and warehouse replication needed for quick commerce nationwide. This complexity often leads to logistical delays, especially during peak festival periods.

While the success of this model remains uncertain, there are two crucial lessons for fashion retailers to consider:
1.    Agility in Product Launches: Being quick in introducing new designs to stay ahead of fashion trends and maintain customer interest.
2.    Adapting to Consumer Behavior: Addressing the demand for rapid delivery, especially during high-demand periods like festivals, to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Fashion retailers must prepare strategically and innovatively for these challenges and opportunities.

Libas is spearheading this transformation, and the future will reveal how it reshapes the customer experience.
