Inarra Atelier Opens Its First Flagship in Salt Lake, Kolkata — Lab-Grown Luxury Finds a Permanent Address

Kolkata’s fine jewellery landscape has a new and distinctly modern entrant. Inarra Atelier, the luxury lab-grown jewellery maison founded by husband-and-wife duo Ashna and Mayank Poddar, has unveiled its first flagship boutique at Salt Lake, Sector 1 — marking the brand’s transition from a digital-first journey to a full offline retail experience.

The 1,500 sq ft atelier is designed as an immersive destination rather than a conventional retail store. It houses one of Kolkata’s first dedicated bridal lounges for luxury lab-grown jewellery, private consultation suites, and discovery spaces built around the brand’s design philosophy. The space is an exercise in considered luxury — intimate, design-led, and built for patrons who treat jewellery as a long-term investment rather than a seasonal purchase.

Backed by a seven-generation family legacy in jewellery and launched in January 2025, Inarra Atelier has welcomed thousands of patrons through its digital platform within just 18 months. The Salt Lake flagship marks the next phase of an ambitious offline expansion plan.

The product portfolio spans lab-grown diamond, Polki, and coloured gemstone collections — each handcrafted by over 150 skilled artisans at the brand’s 6,000 sq ft manufacturing facility using techniques traditionally associated with mined gemstones. All pieces feature premium EF-VVS quality CVD Type IIA lab-grown diamonds certified by IGI, set in hallmarked gold and sterling silver. The brand offers a 90 percent lifetime diamond exchange programme and complimentary lifetime cleaning and repair services.

The flagship also presents Inarra’s men’s collection — cufflinks, tie pins, bracelets, brooches, and studs — alongside its bridal and occasion jewellery repertoire.

For Kolkata’s growing appetite for conscious luxury, Inarra Atelier arrives at the right moment — and with the right address.
