“The Covid-19 pandemic had a major impact on the hair salon industry. Reduced demand due to the forced closure, followed by fear of contracting the virus, weighed on revenue and profit significantly,” according to Mr. Shaw. “But it has bounced back, factors like higher disposable income, the increasing propensity to spend on services such as haircuts and additional hair care treatments, and as people return to work, we expect the salon business to grow, and there’s no two ways about that.”
“After Pandemic we started our one more outlet at Durgapur. We are absolutely thrilled to bring our next salon at Siliguri at 2023. We are also planning to explore Agartala, Ranchi, Guwahati. The love and response received from our clients has been fabulous. Our initial investments for all our salons are nearly 55-60 lakhs. Though the pandemic introduced many new ways of working and living, we’re thrilled to see that our customers are just as excited to return to our salons as we are to serve them.
