Indian premium leather brand KOMPANERO has strengthened its retail presence with the opening of its new store at Oberoi Mall. The new store will house ladies’ handbags, sling bags, travel bags, backpacks, messenger bags, portfolios and handcrafted Italian footwear along with leather jackets and belts.
The leather handbag and accessories brand Kompanero, which was founded in Bengaluru in 2014, aims to take its India flagship store count to 100 by 2025.
The brand’s average India store size is 500 square feet with its largest store in the country measuring over 1,000 square feet. All India stores are EBOs but the brand retails through multi-brand stores and boutiques internationally.
The brand is banking on international and domestic expansion for future growth. It also has a strong presence in Australia, Europe, the US, Korea, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, UK.
It’s main demographic is professionals ages 27 years and up. Kompanero is targeting millennial customers with new product ranges such as more minimalistic accessories.
